As a single father, I feel a little lost when it comes to helping my daughter prepare for her prom. There are some things I just don’t have a clue how to handle.  Sometimes, I buy too much for an event and other times, I should have bought more. At this point, we have the dress and shoes.  Now she wants to buy things for her friends and a prom garter.  For her friends, she wants to buy some prom party favors and for her best friends she wants to buy a few personalized prom favors.  I think this may be too much but then again I am not sure.  She told me to do what I think is best so I bought the items listed.  One of her friends is getting married and my daughter has offered to help the bride make her wedding garter and the wedding favors.  After hearing that, I am glad I bought her those prom items.  She has grown up to be a very responsible young lady and I am so proud of her.
