Wedding Garter: How Much Is Too Much When Comes To the Prom?

As a single father, I feel a little lost when it comes to helping my daughter prepare for her prom. There are some things I just don’t have a clue how to handle. Sometimes, I buy too much for an event and other times, I should have bought more. At this point, we have the dress and shoes. Now she wants to buy things for her friends and a prom garter. For her friends, she wants to buy some prom party favors and for her best friends she wants to buy a few personalized prom favors. I think this may be too much but then again I am not sure. She told me to do what I think is best so I bought the items listed. One of her friends is getting married and my daughter has offered to help the bride make her wedding garter and the wedding favors. After hearing that, I am glad I bought her those prom items. She has grown up to be a very responsible young lady and I am so proud of her.

We’re both getting married within the next two months and we were planning on giving each other a girls night out party. But then we talked it over and decided to combine the two and have one big girls night out together. So here we are planning weddings, receptions, and coming up with bachelorette party ideas at the same time, and buying cakes, decorations, wedding favors and bachelorette party favors. We have been busy, but I think it’s all worth it, this is gonna be one heck of a party.

My sister had many suggestions for my wedding and reception. 90% of which I didn’t care for, but she did have a great idea about wedding favors. She thought it would be nice if I gave out personalized favors for each of them. There are a lot of unique personalized wedding favors to choose from and there are personalized wedding favor boxes or personalized wedding favor tags I can use with them. She does have good ideas once in a while.

Her tables were so elegant and the gifts favors packages looked so beautiful on the reception tables with her centerpieces and wine glasses. Her choice of wedding favors was really superb. I don’t think I’ve ever received such a nice keepsake gift before. Other guests were commenting on the exquisite wedding keepsake gifts and even the wedding keepsake boxes they came in. She put little thank you tags on each one. She was such a thoughtful hostess.

It’s true. We want only the very best wedding bell decorations. We think that’s what makes the reception memorable besides the people and the music. I laugh when I think about it because we purchased all our supplies at a place that displays cheap wedding bells and cheap wedding bell favors. There was nothing cheap about them except the price and we didn’t mind that a bit. We had a silver wedding bell anywhere we could place one and make it look good. We felt like we got exactly what we wanted but for a huge discount and our wedding favors were included in the price. Now that’s how to shop!

She thought the photo coasters wasn’t exactly the perfect wedding favors gift, that is until I showed her the glass photo coasters I had picked out. Then she agreed they would be perfect. She not only agreed with the photo coaster set I chose, but asked if I would order two extra photo coaster favor sets, just for her to have. See, sometimes daughters know best.
